Lubricants
Lubes are an essential part of experimenting with toys, as friction is the main cause of discomfort, especially in areas that don't self-lubricate. Water based lubes are a great all rounder, especially for vaginal play. However, for anal play we recommend going for a silicone based lubricant, as it lasts longer or a 'hybrid' lubricant, which is a mixture of water-based and silicone lubes. Not sure which to go for?
